Dentistry With A Heart

On October 3 2009, we hosted our 2^nd annual Dentistry With a Heart. This event was designed to provide free dental care to those in need. Once again, each patient was able to choose from a free cleaning, 1 free filling or 1 free extraction. This year, six dentists volunteered their time. Along with Dr. DeLoach, Drs. Clark, Griffin, Miller, Sadeghi and Truitt, several hygienists, assistants and volunteers arrived at 6:00 am to kick-off the day. 152 people in need received free dental care. Without help from our community and several others, this day wouldn't be possible. Donations poured in for months before the event and people even brought additional food in the day of. It's truly amazing what a group of volunteers can accomplish in one day.
